Introduction

Welcome to Ozz Tattoo, where we are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality custom body art and professional piercing services in a safe and welcoming environment. By accessing our studio services and interacting with our physical or digital presence, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this document. These guidelines are established to ensure that every client receives exceptional artistic execution while maintaining the strict operational standards necessary for a premium tattoo studio. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time to reflect changes in our studio policies or local health regulations. Your continued engagement with our artists and facility constitutes your acceptance of any such modifications. We highly encourage all prospective and returning clients to review this information thoroughly before committing to a tattoo or piercing session. Our priority is your safety, comfort, and ultimate satisfaction with your permanent artwork. If you have any questions regarding these terms, our management team is always available to provide detailed clarifications before your appointment begins.

Age Requirements and Identification

In strict accordance with local laws and ethical studio practices, Ozz Tattoo strictly prohibits the tattooing of any individual under the legal age of majority. All clients must present valid, government issued photo identification upon arrival at the studio to verify their age before any design consultation or physical procedure commences. Acceptable forms of identification include a current driver's license, passport, or state identification card, and digital copies or photocopies will not be accepted under any circumstances. For specific piercing services that may legally permit minors with parental consent, the legal guardian must be present in the studio, provide their own matching identification, and sign all necessary authorization documents in person. Our artists and staff reserve the absolute right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide adequate proof of age or identity. Falsifying age or using fraudulent identification is a serious violation of our studio policy and will result in an immediate and permanent ban from our premises. We take our legal responsibilities very seriously to protect both our clients and our professional artists. Ensure you bring your physical ID to every appointment regardless of your previous history with our studio.

Health and Medical Disclosures

The safety and well being of our clients and artists at Ozz Tattoo rely heavily on complete transparency regarding your personal health history. Prior to any procedure, clients are strictly required to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that might impact the tattooing or healing process. This includes, but is not limited to, blood borne pathogens, heart conditions, diabetes, skin disorders, autoimmune diseases, or a history of severe allergic reactions to pigments or latex. If you are currently pregnant or nursing, we cannot perform any tattoo or piercing services due to the inherent medical risks involved for both mother and child. Clients must not be under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or blood thinning medications during their appointment, as these substances severely compromise the tattooing process and your overall safety. Our artists reserve the right to delay or cancel an appointment if they suspect a client is intoxicated or medically unfit to undergo a body modification procedure. We maintain hospital grade sterilization protocols, but your honest medical disclosure is the crucial first step in preventing complications. Consult with your primary healthcare physician before booking if you have any chronic health concerns.

Booking, Deposits, and Cancellations

Securing an appointment with an Ozz Tattoo artist requires a non-refundable deposit that is directly applied to the final cost of your completed tattoo session. This deposit acts as a retainer for your specific time slot and compensates the artist for the preliminary hours spent sketching and researching your custom design. If you need to reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum notice of forty eight hours to transfer your deposit to a new date without penalty. Failure to provide adequate notice, arriving excessively late to your scheduled time, or missing your appointment entirely will result in the immediate forfeiture of your deposit. In the event of a forfeited deposit, a completely new deposit will be required before any future bookings can be made with our studio. We understand that unforeseen emergencies happen, but our artists rely on a structured schedule to maintain their livelihood and service all clients effectively. Arriving more than twenty minutes late without prior communication may be treated as a no show at the artist's discretion. Please communicate promptly with our front desk if you anticipate any scheduling conflicts leading up to your session.

Design Concept and Artistic Liberty

At Ozz Tattoo, we pride ourselves on creating unique, custom artwork tailored specifically to your body and aesthetic vision. When you book a custom piece, you are commissioning an original design based on your consultation, and the final artwork remains the intellectual property of the respective artist. We do not copy other artists' exact tattoos, and we will use your reference images strictly as inspiration to build a bespoke piece in our signature style. Minor adjustments to the design can be made on the day of the appointment, but complete conceptual overhauls or massive size changes may require a rescheduled session and an additional drawing fee. Trusting your artist's professional judgment regarding composition, color palette, and anatomical placement is crucial for achieving a visually striking and long lasting tattoo. Artists will not provide final sketches via email or social media prior to the appointment date, as designs are continually refined up until the moment of the stencil application. We reserve the right to decline any design request that does not align with our artistic standards or is deemed culturally insensitive or offensive.

Studio Environment and Etiquette

To maintain a focused, sanitary, and professional atmosphere, Ozz Tattoo enforces specific etiquette guidelines for all visitors entering our facility. Clients are permitted to bring a maximum of one adult guest to accompany them during their appointment to prevent overcrowding in the clinical workstations. Children, infants, and pets are strictly prohibited from entering the studio at any time due to the presence of biohazardous materials and sharp instruments. We ask that all clients maintain a respectful volume, use headphones if listening to personal audio devices, and refrain from disruptive behavior that could distract our artists during intricate procedures. Food is generally not allowed in the immediate tattooing areas, though clients are highly encouraged to bring sealed water bottles and clear, sugary beverages to maintain their blood sugar levels. Please arrive for your appointment freshly showered, wearing clean, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate conduct toward our staff or other patrons will result in immediate removal from the premises and cancellation of your session.

The Tattooing Procedure and Consent

The process of receiving a tattoo involves the permanent insertion of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin, which inherently involves some level of physical discomfort. By sitting in the artist's chair, you are providing explicit, ongoing consent for the physical contact required to execute the tattoo and acknowledging the permanent nature of the procedure. You have the absolute right to request a break at any time during the session if you feel overwhelmed, lightheaded, or need to stretch. Our artists will ensure the stencil is placed to your exact liking, and you will be asked to verify the placement, spelling, and orientation in a mirror before any needles are used. Once the tattooing begins, any subsequent requests for changes to the applied stencil cannot be accommodated, and the client accepts full responsibility for the agreed upon design. We utilize only the highest quality, vegan friendly inks and single use, sterilized equipment to guarantee a safe application process. It is normal to experience redness, swelling, and minor bleeding during the session, and our team will guide you through the process with professional care.

Aftercare Responsibilities and Healing

The long term quality and vibrancy of your new Ozz Tattoo piece depend heavily on your strict adherence to the aftercare instructions provided by your artist. Upon completion of your session, you will receive a detailed verbal explanation and a physical aftercare sheet outlining the exact cleaning and moisturizing protocols required for optimal healing. You must keep the fresh tattoo clean, avoid submerging it in bodies of water like pools or baths, and protect it from direct sunlight during the critical initial healing phase. Picking, scratching, or prematurely peeling the healing skin can lead to severe color loss, scarring, and dangerous bacterial infections. Ozz Tattoo cannot be held responsible for poor healing outcomes, blowouts, or infections that result from a client's negligence or failure to follow the prescribed aftercare regimen. We offer one complimentary touch up within the first three months for custom pieces, provided the client has clearly followed all healing guidelines. If a touch up is required due to obvious client neglect, standard hourly rates will apply for the restorative work.
